Local Organizing Committee – Welcome!
London is proud to host the 2016 Annual Conference of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, with Specialty Conferences in Environmental, Materials, Structural and Transportation Engineering and Natural Disaster Mitigation. We will address the CSCE Strategic Direction “Leadership in Sustainable Infrastructure” through our theme RESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURE. Presentations of peer-reviewed papers at these Specialty Conferences and of relevant case studies by innovative practitioners, accepted through submission of an abstract only will inform practicing Canadian Civil Engineers of new developments in infrastructure resilience.
Please visit the Technical Programs page often for updated information, including deadlines for abstract and paper submission. The Preliminary Conference Program and registration opportunities will be available here in the Spring of 2016.
The Conference will be hosted at the London Convention Centre with accommodation available at the nearby Delta Armouries Hotel. London is centrally located in Southwestern Ontario, and so a two or three hour drive for thousands of practicing Civil Engineers. A variety of activities is being planned to entertain conference delegates and their guests. Early June is a lovely season to explore our beautiful and diverse city.
We look forward to hosting you in London June 1-4, 2016!
